Christine V. Blackford joined us as our called pastor on

January 2004.  Chris graduated May 2003 and was ordained

on January 31, 2004 at Eastminster Presbyterian Church.

On May 17, 2003 Chris graduated from Lancaster Theological

Seminary receiving a Master of Divinity degree.  She also received

the Rev. Thomas W. Rhoads award for excellence in Biblical

Interpretation in the Old Testament.  Christ has been a member

of Eastminster Presbyterian Chruch for twenty-two years where has undertaken every position except deacon and usher. 

Chris and her husband reside in York.  They have 3 children and

one grandchild.
