If you were going to tell people what the Kingdom of God was like – where would you start?

Jesus starts with seeds. He tells parables that seem simple, almost forgettable. But they often have a twist, a twist that we struggle to catch because it’s been 20 centuries and we are in a very different culture from 1st century Palestine.

That bush in the picture, the one that is bigger than the man standing in front of it – that’s a mustard bush. How can the Kingdom of God be like a mustard bush?
