Outreach

We are committed to loving God and loving our neighbors, and we do this in a variety of ways throughout the year. In the summer we run a lunch program Monday through Friday for children and caregivers who need assistance. From 11-12:30 anyone from the community is invited in for a free lunch! On Mon/Wed/Fri, we will have a hot lunch and a safe space to hang out and do crafts and games. On Tues/Thurs we have a bag lunch for carryout. Thursdays from 11:30am-12:30pm we are a distribution site for Power Packs and the Giving Table. If you would like to know more or volunteer, please contact our Summer Lunch Coordinator Alicia Ferrari.

Sunday School

Each week after the Children’s Chat in worship, kids have the opportunity to be part of Sunday School. We have a pre-school and early elementary class. The classes emphasize building strong faith community, learning the stories of the Bible, and developing spiritual practices that kids can use in their every day lives even at a young age.

Adults are welcome to be part of a traditional Bible study that happens after worship. Occasional  topical classes are offered based on interest and explore different faith topics in a discussion-based format. If you are interested in learning more, please contact Pastor Jesse.

Presbyterian Women

WPC’s Presbyterian Women’s group meets monthly for fellowship, Bible study, and prayer. Throughout the year they host a variety of church activities, support a number of charitable causes local events. If you’d like to know more about Presbyterian Women, please contact Becky Kopp.

Men’s Ministry

WPC partners with Trinity Lutheran and Hope UMC to host a quarterly breakfast for men in the community. These times offer opportunities for encouragement, education, and sharing opportunities for service and outreach happening around the community. Find out more about the next event by contacting Bob Gotwols.
